We had a great time taking Tony’s tour. Tony provided a rich and well researched perspective on the human history of the island while being kind and courteous to our group. I highly recommend starting your Maui adventure with his tour—it offers a clear understanding of both the history and geography of the island, which made self-guided exploration later in our vacation much easier. My wife and I booked a tour with Tony’s Tropical Tours during our trip to Maui in October. We thought a historical tour of Maui would be interesting as neither of us knew much about the island’s history. The tour was fantastic! Tony was knowledgeable and his tour provided historical context for the island and its people. Tony is a true historian and a wonderful storyteller which made the tour fly by. I appreciated that the tour was private so I could ask Tony all the questions that came to mind. Lastly, Tony was so accommodating and customized the tour to fit our time constraints.
